Rogers’ HSPA+ network to offer fastest download speeds available in North America

SASKATOON, May 4 /CNW/ – Rogers’ customers in Saskatoon are now able to access Rogers’ High Speed Packet Access Plus (HSPA+) network, offering customers the fastest mobile broadband download speeds available in North America.

Rogers was the first wireless carrier to offer an HSPA+ network in Canada and is the only wireless carrier to offer the HSPA+ network to Saskatoon residents. The network is accessed through the HSPA+ Rocket Mobile Internet Stick. The stick can provide download speeds of up to 21 megabits per second*(mbps), enabling quick movie downloads and web surfing for a mobile web experience equivalent to what customers can get at home or the office.

The HSPA+ Rocket Mobile Internet Stick features a USB connection to a laptop or a desktop PC, easy installation with no CD required for Windows or Mac Operating Systems, integrated antenna for maximized reception performance and data transmission, and multi-colour LED indicating connection status. The new HSPA+ Rocket Mobile Internet Stick can be purchased for $0 on a three-year-term or $174.99 with no term at Rogers Retail stores or at www.rogers.com.
