Rogers Publishing to use the Audit Bureau of Circulations for each of its audited magazines

TORONTO, April 28 /CNW/ - Rogers Publishing Limited today announced that it will consolidate the auditing of magazine circulation with the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC). Previously, 26 Rogers magazines were audited by ABC. This change will result in a shift of another 26 publications away from BPA Worldwide for a total of 52 magazines that will be audited by ABC. "Our discussions with members of the Canadian Media Directors' Council and others in the advertising community have revealed a desire for consistent rules and comparability of circulation information. As a Canadian publishing leader, we feel it's important to respond to that need," said Brian Segal, CEO of Rogers Publishing. "We thank BPA Worldwide for the professional work they have done for us over the years." Among the magazines to move from BPA Worldwide to ABC are seven in Rogers' Consumer Publishing Group and 19 in its Business & Professional Publishing Group. The presidents of both BPA Worldwide and ABC have committed to an orderly transition that will ensure that the needs of the advertising community continue to be met seamlessly. Among the publications moving to ABC are Baby & Toddler, Cosmetics, Mère Nouvelle, Mon Enfant, Newborn, Pregnancy & Birth, Ontario Out of Doors, Canadian Printer, CARD, Canadian Contractor, Canadian Grocer, Canadian Insurance, Canadian Metalworking, Canadian Packaging, Coatings, Design Engineering, Food in Canada, Hardware Merchandising, Heating Plumbing Air Conditioning, Le Journal Industriel du Québec, Materials Management & Distribution, Meetings & Incentive Travel, Onsite, Plant, Plastics In Canada, and Purchasing B2B.
