Rogers Radio Division Names Paul Ski CEO


    TORONTO, Dec. 20 /CNW/ - Rogers Broadcasting (RBL), a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Rogers Communications (RCI), today announced the appointment of
Paul Ski as the Chief Executive Officer of its radio division. Ski has a long
and successful career in radio broadcasting spending over 30 years with the
CHUM radio group, most recently as its President.
    Ski will replace Gary Miles who is retiring after an illustrious career
in Canadian radio and 20 years of service with Rogers. Under Miles'
leadership, Rogers' radio division grew from two stations to an industry
leading group of 51 stations today.

President of RBL. "Paul has a unique combination of talent and experience that
has made him such a success in the past and which equip him so wonderfully
well for the challenges that lie ahead. As the radio industry continues to
evolve from a single medium into multimedia, leaders of Paul's calibre will
help to assure that Rogers continues to lead the industry."
    Paul has a Masters degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser
University and has been active in industry and community associations. Paul is
currently Chair of the Radio Committee of the Canadian Association of
Broadcasters and is a member of the Boards of Directors of the Radio Marketing
Bureau and the Bureau of Broadcast Measurement.
