Ted Rogers Community Grants – How Closer to Home is setting the foundation for the next generation of Calgary’s youth

Ted Rogers Community Grant recipients are awarded to Canadian organizations that go above and beyond in helping their community’s youth become the best version of themselves– and Closer to Home does just that.

Based in Calgary, Closer to Home supports their community’s children, youth and families in uncovering their strengths and building stronger family connections. Through programs specializing in youth leadership and wellness, Closer to Home is building a strong foundation for youth to thrive in their communities ,and become the changemakers of tomorrow.

While the pandemic has made it challenging to maintain and build connections with children and their families, funding from The Ted Rogers Community Grants has opened the doors to blend online and offline programming, to engage youth in more meaningful ways.
