Ted Rogers Community Grants – How the Rainbow Resource Centre supports the LGBTQ2S+ community

Earlier this year, we announced that nine organizations across the Prairie provinces were awarded with Ted Rogers Community Grants to help make a difference in the lives of thousands of local youth through mentorship, personal development, arts, counselling and leadership programs.

One of these organizations is the Rainbow Resource Centre, a Winnipeg-based organization that offers support to the LGBTQ2S+ community through counselling, education and programming, along with offering ally education and training outside of the community.

Receiving a Ted Rogers Community Grant allowed the Rainbow Resource Centre to start a BIPOC youth program, a dedicated and culturally affirming space for BIPOC LGBTQ2S+ youth. Learn more about the Rainbow Resource Centre below:
