Ted Rogers Legacy Scholarships, valued at up to $100,000, supporting future tech leaders from application to graduation
At Rogers, we are committed to investing in the next generation to help young Canadians reach their highest potential and build a better future for Canada. Through Ted Rogers Scholarships, we are investing millions and helping thousands of youth gain access to post-secondary education.
The program offers a number of scholarship options to support youth with different post-secondary needs, and builds on Rogers existing partnerships with leading universities.
- Open now until September 20, 2023, the Ted Rogers Legacy Scholarship will recognize academic excellence and provide $25,000 per year up to four years for 10 students who want to change the world through technology. Successful recipients will be under the age of 25 and earning a first degree in a technology focused discipline at the University of British Columbia, University of Calgary, University of Waterloo, Toronto Metropolitan University, Polytechnique Montréal, or the University of New Brunswick starting in the fall of 2024. These scholarships, valued up to $100,000, cover the entire cost of a four-year university experience.
- The Ted Rogers Entrance Scholarship will provide $1,000 bursaries for hundreds of students to close tuition gaps or for educational fees and the cost of books. Applications will be accepted between August 30 – September 27, 2023.
- The Ted Rogers Future Leader Scholarship, now closed for 2023, awarded full tuition ($6,700 per year up to four years) to 100 students under the age of 25 earning a first undergraduate degree and attending a partner university.
Scholarships are part of our $75 million annual investment in communities across Canada, and together with grants and Jays Care, we are helping 60,000 young Canadians gain access to education, sports and training each year.
Selection is administered by Universities Canada with a focus on equity-deserving youth, youth with financial need, and community leadership.
