TORONTO, Sept. 20 /CNW/ – On Monday’s Prime Time Sports, Bob McCown
announced Andrew Krystal will be the new host of THE FAN 590 Morning
Show beginning Tuesday September 21st.
Andrew Krystal in the Morning will air weekday mornings 5:30am to 9:00am
featuring Krystal with contributions from new morning sports anchor and
longtime FAN 590 veteran Dan Dunleavy.
FAN 590 Program Director Don Kollins is thrilled with the move of
Krystal to the mornings. “Andrew is one of the best on-air personalities
in radio today. To have him anchoring our morning show is very exciting.
I’m thrilled to have him as a key component of THE FAN 590 team.”
“We’re going to find out if listeners are prepared to be pissed off that
early in the morning!” said Prime Time Sports host Bob McCown as he
introduced Krystal on his show Monday afternoon.
“Toronto is MY city” said Krystal. “Talking about the teams I grew up
with, I’m proud to be a part of THE FAN and this great sports city. And
even though I’m a much younger man, I’m pleased that Bob and I still
have most of our hair.”
