TODAY ROGERS EXPANDS CANADA'S RELIABLE NETWORK IN MANITOBA

Increases high speed network by more than 150 times

WINNIPEG, March 31 /CNW/ – Today, Rogers expands its high speed wireless
network by 150 times covering 97 per cent of the Manitoba population.
Rogers customers across Manitoba can now join Winnipeggers with access
to Rogers high speed network with download speeds of up to 21 megabits
per second, more device selection, and carrier choice.

In more places across Manitoba than ever before, Rogers reliable high
speed network is now available for the first time in northern Manitoba
including Thompson, The Pas, Flin Flon, and more. The Rogers network in
southern Manitoba has also been expanded and upgraded to high speed,
offering faster download speeds and increased signal strength resulting
in improved voice quality. Existing Rogers customers can upgrade to the
latest devices and take advantage of the greater geographic reach of
the expanded high speed network.

“Welcome to the world of choice, speed and innovation, Manitoba,” said
Darrell Graham, Rogers Manitoba vice president. “Customers have been
telling us they want a faster network in more places and more selection
of mobile devices. They want to connect in a way that makes their lives
better and easier. Starting today, Manitobans from across the province
can fuel their passions by switching to Rogers and connect – in high
speed, on the device they want – to what matters to them most.”

Manitobans across the province now have more choice with access to the
latest cutting-edge devices including the iPhone, a large selection of
Android devices, BlackBerry®, and a bounty of mobile Internet
solutions. A number of new stores have opened today in communities
across the province to service Rogers customers.

“We have a long history of innovation and bringing network reliability
and fast download speeds to our customers,” said Graham. “Manitobans
can depend on Rogers to always bring the latest technologies to its
customers first. Now customers in Manitoba can use those latest
technologies on a network that is 150 times larger.”

Rogers was the first carrier to roll out HSPA+ in North America, giving
customers the ability to receive speeds of up to 21 megabits per
second, and is pleased to now offer that technology to more of
Manitoba.
