WANTED: Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies for the new PROFIT 200

PROFIT Magazine makes its call for entries

TORONTO, Feb. 25 /CNW/ – “When I launched my first business,” says
Dragons’ Den’s Robert Herjavec, “I had two goals in mind: to survive,
and to make the PROFIT 100 ranking.” Herjavec, CEO of The Herjavec
Group, achieved both. So did Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie of
Research in Motion, Clive Beddoe of WestJet Airlines and Tony Lacavera
of Wind Mobile and Globalive Communications.

These CEOs understood the benefits of participating in Canada’s most
exciting business ranking and awards program. Since 1989, the ranking
of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies has celebrated the success of the
best and brightest companies from all sectors of the economy. Now, in
its 23rd year, it’s expanding to give full recognition to 200 of the
nation’s most entrepreneurial companies—which is why it has been
renamed the PROFIT 200.

Do you manage a fast-growing Canadian company or know someone who does?
Then submit a nomination today to the PROFIT 200, the definitive list
of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies based on five-year revenue
growth. An entry form can be found at http://www.PROFIT200.ca.

PROFIT will honour Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies in its special
June issue and at the ninth annual PROFIT 200 CEO Summit, Canada’s most
exclusive and educational event for entrepreneurs.

Winning firms are backed by a national publicity campaign that generates
extensive consumer and trade media coverage. The top 20 Quebec-based
winners will also be featured in L’actualité magazine. For a list of
last year’s winners and their best practices, visit http://www.PROFIT200.ca.

Candidates and nominators looking for more information can call the
toll-free PROFIT 200 hotline at 1-800-713-GROW or visit http://www.PROFIT200.ca. The entry deadline is March 31, 2011.
