Bringing our teams together to support the communities in which we live, work and play is an important part of how we make giving back possible.

Serving 28,000 community members in Edmonton through its food hamper program, the Edmonton Food Bank is a central warehouse that collects and redistributes more than 350,000 meals and snacks to agencies, schools and churches in the Edmonton area.

With visits to food banks climbing to 20 per cent nationally since the arrival of COVID-19, an increase in demand for services and resources has meant that their organization has been in need of greater volunteer support.

As a long-time friend and partner of the Edmonton Food Bank, Rogers team members like Strategic Account Executive Heidi Roberts have stepped-up to give back this year by filling hampers and packaging up goods in the Edmonton Food Bank warehouse.

For Marjori Bencz, Executive Director of Edmonton’s Food Bank, it’s meaningful partnerships like this one that allow them to continue serving those in need in their community.
