Antonella: I was shocked, actually. That’s a lot. They’re on their phone a lot.

[ON SCREEN TEXT: ADRIANA’S SCREEN TIME: 13 HRS 15 MINS]

Antonella: Wow.

Jeff: That was, you know, eye opening to feel that length of time.

Antonella: It was like her phone was attached to her hand.

Young: I just wish they had a bit more self-control when it came to that. Right? It’s a struggle.

Seren: It didn’t feel like that long. I feel like when I’m on my screen, it definitely makes time go by quicker.

Antonella: Even it was by your side, you would still glance at it. It was like a reflex.

Adriana: Yeah. It’s like a natural reflex.

Kaiden: I feel like I should be doing something else. It’s just not like really good for me being on it that long.

Jeff: You know, the phone is a lot of things. It’s, it’s our connecting with friends, it’s our entertainment. Sometimes it’s our learning. But I think so many other things happen on the other side of it.

Antonella: It’s hard, right? There’s the good side of it, and then there’s the side that we have the concerns, but how do you balance it?

Jeff: The ultimate goal is that a young person finds the balance so that they have a good quality of life.

[ON SCREEN TEXT: HEALTHY SCREEN TIME STARTS WITH BALANCE.]
