Marisa Wyse

Marisa Wyse was appointed Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Rogers in January 2022. Marisa is responsible for leading the legal and governance affairs across all of Rogers.

Marisa joined Rogers in 2014 and has taken on progressively senior leadership roles with a proven track record of driving key business files across the organization. Marisa was instrumental in the Rogers-Shaw merger, which was the largest telecommunications deal in Canadian business history and recognized as the M&A Deal of the Year at the 2024 Canadian Law Awards.

In 2023, Marisa was recognized as the Canadian General Counsel of the Year.

Prior to joining Rogers, Marisa practiced as a tax lawyer at a Canadian law firm, with an emphasis on corporate transactions.

Marisa served as a Director on Glentel Inc.’s Board of Directors from 2022 to 2025 and on Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment’s (MLSE) Board of Directors since 2025. She holds a J.D. in Law from the University of Toronto and was admitted into the Ontario Bar in 2006. She also holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from McGill University.
